there are reasons for their policy. did you think to ask sonic groove for an
explanation of their policy before posting a complaint to a newsgroup?

and furthermore, you accuse sonicgroove of being 'all about the benjamins'
because they have practices which you state dissuade and hamper sales. can you
see the contradiction here.

sonic groove is a new york record store. and they provide fantastic service to
the djs and music lovers of new york. that they also provide limited services
for people elsewhere is only a bonus.

if you really care so much about the music and buying records from sonic groove,
don't bitch about it. do what i did, move half way around the world so you can
live in a city that has been so important a part of dance music history and has
fantastic record stores.

i'm just posting to ask if anyone else has had hassles buying from
sonicgroove from europe? apparantly they have a $100 minimum and an american
express only policy.
this makes me livid. who spends $100 on vinyl they cant even hear first?
also american express cards are frankly much less wide spread outside the
USA. how exclusive is that? it *excludes* people.
anyone else had any hassles like this?
makes me SO angry
martin
