Getting a work permit for the USA is a funny experience that involves
a medical in which you have to prove you have no false limbs and what
sex you are, even tho your stood there in your pants you still have to
pop them down to prove it :) Even if you're self funding it's worth
paying an agency to get you fast tracked otherwise you could be
looking at six months and one false slip in the paper work and you
have to start again.
UK customs have been pulling a lot more people of late because they
have better software and tracking available to them now, it's also
become a political hot topic in the UK since the moronic BNP got in a
couple of MEPs on the back "illegal immigrants". DJs stand out like
sore thumbs, short visit, no cash, know paths and large bags.
Traveling without the correct paperwork these days is a tad stupid.
