So yes, what governs the idea of what type of music to promote on the list is quite a subjective set of considerations. I think the issue with pertin-nce, for me, is that it feels like for the last several years, the list has been bombarded by updates about a pet project, in tortuous detail, which hardly anyone else on the list is feeling. If that's what people want though, fair enough. I'm just saying it's not for me. I tend to immediately delete anything that contains the words pertin-nce.
