I can't say I noticed the bad mixes cos I was too busy getting down and screamimng "Aciiieed!". Mind you, I've never been someone who cares that much about it or even notices it unless it is spectacularly good or spectacularly bad - it's the tunes that matter for me - eg Ben Sims is a great mixer but the last two times I've heard him he bored the sh** out of me with his tune selection, so I was chuffed when I heard Gerald playing some acid house - the young loopy crowd needed a bit of education and he seemed to go down pretty well - I for one (and the crowd I was with) was ecstatic to hear the likes of Phuture being played out on big loud rig - many tunes I had never heard in a club before, just in bedrooms - so it was a breath of fresh air after Sims' dull bmtisch bmtisch sound.
