must be a cultural difference or something but i can't beleive you're
honestly arguing for madonna's corner.
in the UK that bland electro-pop that she's peddling is what fills the
charts (and has done for a few years....sugarbabes, libertyX, kylie
etc).
she's just hired some geezer who can do that, paid big for an abba
sample (pop gold) and run with that.
well i suppose that kind of thing isnt as common here as it is there.
here, hearing madonna playing essentially a house song on the radio is
pretty distinctively different from what we hear otherwise. i even
appreciated it when n'sync had BT produce a pop song for them, even though
i dont like BT. its just a good thing for mass exposure to pretty much
unedited real electronic dance music (which IMO is better than the liberty
x and sugababes type stuff, which im only familar with becuase i have some
old garage remixes of their stuff).
she has pretentions of being landed gentry here as well i also find
faintly ludicrous.
now that and the children's books stuff i can't defend, but her music is
cool by me.
