Uh, if they back out after being flown there with all the gear and
promotion and etc. the promoter *definitely* isn't going to be making any
money.  If the promoter wants to lose his/her pants just to be able to have
their 5 friends finally see the band play - well then the band should do
what any good band does - Get Up On Stage and Play Your Heart OUT.

If they refuse to play then they need to reimburse the promoter for
everything and then apologize to everyone for their pickiness.
If the place truly is a sh!thole well that's a different story.
