I agree that quality is far more important than quantity (although I wouldn't mind to buy 4-trackers with all 4 tracks being big time smokers ;)))) , I mentioned that case just because that made me really think of this 1 vs. more tracker issue. It also has happened to me that I buy a few-track record for one particular track I love and then after a while I realise that there's another track on this records that is doing for me even more than the first one...
Regarding "Track Machine", I agree, that this is the goodness. Maybe next time I see it, it will be mine (too bad its out of print). And I'll ask Alan to scratch huuuge (twelve-inch-wide) autograph on reverse side (just kidding) :)))) Visu labo ix ----- Original Message ----- From: Andrew Duke <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: Ivars Mednis <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Cc: <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, March 06, 2000 3:05 PM Subject: (313) re: oldham one-sider > re: what you wrote below: > Pure5 DJ T-1000 - "Track Machine" (1998) > is what you're looking for. gritty goodness > i encourage you to buy. andrew duke :) > > Ivars Mednis wrote: > > > ----- Original Message ----- > > From: Doctor Schinkelfunk <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > > To: <[email protected]> > > Sent: Monday, March 06, 2000 2:29 AM > > Subject: Re: (313) 2 track EP's SUCK! > > > > > Hi, > > > > > > Well, there are some technical problems with vinyl, which limit the total > > > amount of music you can put on one side.
