Yeah, I listened to it at work. I always try and give Mr. Hawtin a chance, since the one time I met him he was quite nice to me, and seemed like an intelligent guy.
But... it doesn't really make me bust a grin, which a good mix will. It was OK, but I listened at work and it turned into sonic wallpaper. I kind of like the last Decks&fx CD but had the same impression -- it's great background music for computer programming -- Dilbert Techno. There's a place for that, but I think I wouldn't much like to see him play out if that's the way he mixes. Give me some variation and drama!
