Even if we believe in technological determinism, it only asserts that the future is approximately _deterministic_; it does not in any way suggest that it is _predictable_. Per Turing et al. we know that there is in the general case no faster way to predict the outcome of even a deterministic complex system than to run it and see what happens. ------------------------------------------- AGI Archives: https://www.listbox.com/member/archive/303/=now RSS Feed: https://www.listbox.com/member/archive/rss/303/21088071-f452e424 Modify Your Subscription: https://www.listbox.com/member/?member_id=21088071&id_secret=21088071-58d57657 Powered by Listbox: http://www.listbox.com
