lol, I was reading and thinking 'wtf', lol.. anyways, I know it's a bad argument, and I agree on that, I'm just saying that from the user's perspective, it might not be... > > > 2 - if we save the FT list in the config, it would be useful to open the > > > FT manager and see which file, which > > > person sent you a month ago.. easier than ls -lt on amsn_received, and > > > having to use a plugin to sort our > > > received folder... > > You just said it's "so unintuitive to have to search for FT's in the > chat history"; though, in IM, a file transfer is part of a chat. so > it's kind of logical. I'm just thinking about a window where you would sum up all your file transfers, it's just easier to find than view chat history, filter by FT... and yes, it IS logical, but it isn't intuitive for the common user. It makes sense to be there, but it doesn't make sense to search for it there, that's kind of what I'm tring to say, and I know, it sounds weird.. lol > > > 3 - if you download many files, it IS important.. I would say definitely yes. and I'm not talking here about 'it looks great on a release note' I'm talking about users reading it on a release note and saying "FINALLY!". I don't know if you follow the forums, but there has been a lot of people requesting that. A single window to group all the transfers.. it's certainly useful. p.s.: the point 3 wasn't about release note, or 20 FTs in a minute or whatever, it was about the fact that some will need it, some will not, not everyone uses all the features of amsn and not all the developers use the client the same way as most of the users... > > > > > > I hope it's convincing.. > > For me it's not, but as I'm more democratic then you possibly think, I > await other's reply > I know you're democratic...
