This has been a good discussion. As an experiment, I just changed my description from a feature list to a "clever" blurb. Will report back if my sales/downloads have gone up or down. My app is in a category where I would think that features matter and people look for them. So I am guessing that I am shooting myself in the foot, but it's worth trying for a week.
