What are the payment methods for the $25? Hopefully they accept paypal or allow some time for payment processing while apps are available.
Are those that add free apps under the same constraints? Is the $25 just for legal concerns, a bad attempt to improve app quality, an attempt to reduce apps, or an attempt to make a little money from developers? The %30 is a rip, but that is expected I guess. Hopefully some of that money goes to marketing the phone instead of to the executives. The $25 dollars is stupid. What do you do if your poor, but have good apps? Seems like a small barrier to most, but to some developers it's a really bid deal. Most importantly why do we get this info now when it's kind of late in the game?
