It's not about reason. It's about a combination of not reading the description (where it says it's ad supported) and the all-too-common sense of entitlement to get everything for free.
It's insane, when you think about it. A dollar or two to play a game? When 5 years ago the cheapest game you could buy that was any good was at least $20? And apps of any significance tend to be a lot more than that....
People want what they want, and there are a lot of whining jerks out there. Haters gonna hate. :)
