> So the ITSM suite is not inclusive, with just this package? BMC Atrium CMDB Enterprise Manager does not include ITSM. However, if you buy an ITSM application like Asset Management it will include the Atrium CMDB. -David J. Easter Sr. Product Manager, Service Management Business Unit BMC Software, Inc. BMC Atrium CMDB as a foundational shared component is included with many of BMC solutions at no additional cost for use with those solutions. These solutions include ITSM, Configuration Management, Discovery, and Service Impact Management. When these solutions are purchased, CMDB can be integrated with external data sources or 3rd party discovery products if at least one BMC product is also integrated with the CMDB. It may not be used in a standalone configuration without integration with a BMC solution. Hope that helps, -David J. Easter Sr. Product Manager, Service Management Business Unit BMC Software, Inc. Not sure I understand the model here so I'll ask: Is this a "special" package (Telcos only, etc)?? Does this include a full ITSM suite with it? How big does an enterprise have to be to consider such a purchase? I wonder how many of you have successfully installed BMC's current CMDB? If this is a true price then 5 years of support comes FREE with it, right ? Regards...Gidd Glidden L. Calden BUOYANT SOLUTIONS, INC.
