i see your points, and they do make sence. i wasnt creating the idea, thats what the fishmans proposed. they wanted to make the boardwalk buidings less one sided, and more open on the ocean ave side. what you said about the parking is true, but keep in mind, you didnt talley up all the spots on 1st-7th ave. back in the day, from what i hear, parkng use to go almost to main st. you have to walk, thats just the way it is. its always been that way. probalby a bad example, but think when you go to the mall. if you go at certain times of the year, you get any parking you want. but consider going during a holiday, you can forget parking near the door. your gonna be out in the middle of no where. you have to walk. it applys in asbury park too.
