Denny, I was not referring to landlords relocating tenants, but that
property owners face condemnation on the east side. However, on that
issue, I raise again what I raised at a prior council meeting. When
Asbury Partners reaches a sale agreement with a property owner in
lieu of condemnation, it is freed from the obligation and expense of
relocation assitance. I asked the council to make it mandatory for
the assistance in any regard. That is why an elderly woman from the
Belmont/Atlantic wound up sleeping on the street a few months ago.
