Well, if you don't know what you're voting on or don't understand it or
don't ask to see a what-if scenario - (what if we raise x, what if we
don't raise x...), then don't vote. YOu have a city manager as well,
attorney's etc etc.....
Here's two sample letters to write to solve the problem:
1) Dear Mr. Springsteen,
Thank you so much for the concerts and once again bringing people into
the city. In case you didn't see the article in the press, we once
again....Your help is appreciated.
2) Dear Taxpayers of New Jersey,
We need money.
