Doesn't Monmouth Cablevision air the meetings? Your citizen journalist idea is a great one and I alluded to something similar in a previous post. If you build up enough of a roster, you wouldn't have to worry about attending EVERY meeting. Folks could divvy up the responsibility. It would be great to see not just meetings covered, but on-the-street interviews with locals from all walks of life, trends covered, crimes investigated, real estate transactions examined. A real watchdog press. Click here <http://queenscrap.blogspot.com/> and scroll down to where it says "Other Interesting Blogs" on the right. There's a whole bunch there that could serve as a model. They're usually run by just a few people, or in some cases one guy, but they cover the city in a way the dailies never could.
I gotta ask: Loffredo kissing?
