Here, we normally maintain a sense of decency and do not stoop low enough to the level of attacking people on a personal level. KJD is a respected member of the Assamese diaspora and he does present good ideas from time to time. Now, you may not agree with what we say, but you have found a way to resort to calling people names, and that too, hiding behind a disguise. how low can cowards stoop?

BTW, from your juvenile note, it shows this: you must be a kid from yesterday who is fascinated by the (day)dream of the NRIs being kicked out of "US/Europe/Africa/Austrialia/Thiland and sent back to India; they might become so sick of the system that maybe there will be a revolution and the system will change."

Unfortunately that will never happen, not in your lifetime - but dream on..

"Finally, Ms. Sarangapaniits ok to be married to a non-Assamese; it does not mean that you have to defend India till the endit seems you are a true wanna-be Indian stri."

As far as I'm concerned, you are a non-entity, so I don't care to prove or disprove anything to you. What do you mean by "its ok to be married"? I don't remember seeking your approval for this alliance, so don't flatter yourself.

Go and read the history of Gauhati University - the "first institution of higher education" in Assam. You should be able to find (if you can comprehend, that is) the name 'sarangapani' come up and find out what some of these "non-Assamese" did for the educational development of Assam - what you and the likes of you will not be able to contribute to Assam's development in several life times, EVEN with an Assamese last name.

Any educated person in Assam will know these "non-Assamese" as "doers" of Assam than Assamese like you who have not (and probably will never) contribute to Assam's future and development. Start doing something constructive first for Assam, then, may be you will also gather some courage to come out in the open and use your real name and discuss things sensibly or have a decent conversation.

If you're smart as you are trying to be in your mail, you will understand that these "non-Assamese" are NOT the same "foreign Rickshaw-wala"s or the "hard-working"  business men in Assam that you try to take advantage of, and get upset if you don't get to ride his rickshaw (or whatever he can offer) for free.

Why are you in this NRI adda anyway, you seem to dislike them! or are you suffering from some sour grape syndrome?

you got a little attention alright, but don't let it get to your head. You know, we face this kind of seasonal nuisance every now and then and we just go on and brush such nonsense into oblivion.

Unfortunately, we have had to stoop to your standards in replying to mails such as yours. well, you had your minute of glory and limelight.

Subject: Re: India Since 1947

First of all I would like to thank JRD for enlightening us on the secret goals of Aurobindo and Pareshtill date I have been scratching my head and thinking what drugs these guys may be hooked to it does seem that they could be hooked to Islam, and thus they take the gutless actions that hurt the Assamese population.

Anyway, here is my 3 cents worth on this issue:

-          India is and will continue to be the most mediocre of economies till the date it splits up into manageable territories.  If CM is in power during that time, the Assamese will never talk to the Biharis after that day; and if JDR is in power during that time (with Ms. Sarangapanis blessing) even if the indian army has to kill each and every Assamese to stop it from happening and keeping India intact their actions will be well justified.

-          Democracy sucks!  When over half the population is from one region (Hindi/Hindu belt), it is very hard to get them to listen to anyone who thinks different from them.  Thats why the Boro problem still is a problem, and thats why even after gaining sovereign rights, the 500 American Indian tribes are loosing their people and language.  Dude, democracy is the rule of the majority and it does not mean the rule of justice.

-          CM coodos to you on pointing out that NRIs are running away from misery and not really coming here to serve their homeland more as JRD would like to view it.  Actually, if all the NRIs are kicked out of the US/Europe/Africa/Austrialia/Thiland and sent back to India; they might become so sick of the system that maybe there will be a revolution and the system will change.

-          KJD sorry for calling you JRD all this long you just seemed to sound so Junior Retarded and Defensive that I simply had to. But again, you have your own views, and I (sic!) respect them.

-          CM you rock dudeunfortunately, you come across as a wanna-be philosopher someone who had to let go of AASU not because he was no longer a student, but rather because no one thought you are a good orator!  Joking kokai! I enjoy your writingenjoy a fantastic weekend.

-          Finally, Ms. Sarangapaniits ok to be married to a non-Assamese; it does not mean that you have to defend India till the endit seems you are a true wanna-be Indian stri.

Oh I forgot to mention that Rubi Bhuyan of ULFA who regularly posts her newsletter here is actually Rubi Begam-ma the fourth wife of both Parviz mia and Atif mia
