Yeah, the various BSD's work pretty well with Asterisk. I run a server
with a couple of IAX lines
on OpenBSD. No drivers for Digium hardware yet, though.
FreeBSD does have drivers, at least available but not in the
distribution. AskoziaPBX evolved
on FreeBSD and I used it for a while at home with one FXO line on a
Digium TDM400 - worked pretty well.
Then Askozia switched to Linux for political reasons, so I'm ditching
Askozia on that machine. Not sure
yet what I'll replace it with.
