I've found the advantage of CentOS has been in the hardware support with
drivers from vendors - typically a vendor provides drivers for RHL which
can be used with CentOS. Happened a few times to me with onboard raid
controllers and Intel drivers.

We still recommend sticking with CentOS with the main reasoning being
the supported hardware - As CentOS is RHL based, most vendors will
provide drivers

Hi all,
With the recent problem that the CentOS has regarding funding and
other aspect, I am seeking experiences in the different distribution
you guys use for major asterisk deployement.
I mainly debate between CentOS and Ubuntu (both server flavor). Any
insights, stories?
