Bruce, I have experience with both Audiocodes (direct) and Grandstream GXW4104 (remote management of the box).
Simple answer, Audiocodes is carrier class gateway if you know what you are doing otherwise don't even touch it, Grandstream everyone can have his/her hands on it but experience will be terrible when you expect a carrier class gateway here, after more than five years I don't know if Grandstream has made the stable firmware for GXW4104. I won't waste my time and reputation for GXW4104 used as a gateway for any business customers.
