Thanks, Xabier. I committed the file you attached. 

However there may still be a problem. Searching the currently 
committed .po file shows many instances of "Audacity" (without 
trademark) apparently translated as "Audacityk". 

In many cases "Audacity" is at the start of a sentence so not used
possessively. For example on:
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/about/features?lang=eu   

the first paragraph of the "Grabaketa" section has a couple of 
examples of "Audacityk".

Can you please look at all the examples of "Audacityk" in the .po 
file. If you think they need to be "Audacityk" can you say why.

I know you have tried to explain but I don't understand the 
example you give or how it relates to all the other usages. 

Also do any other languages than Basque share these nuances?
