There is an existing Transifex project:
https://www.transifex.com/klyok/audacity/. Weblate is (in my opinion) not
as user friendly as Transifex.

At the moment, Transifex supports a GitHub and Bitbucket integration,
eliminating the need for manual commits. This is not implemented yet in the
Audacity project, however.

But: the Audacity Transifex project *does* have automatic updates of source
files, so you can get notified when new strings are available for
translation.

A few of the Audacity developers is active on the Transifex project, too!
