Sorry GameDev, I see how this was confusing. It wasn't meant to comment at all on the free verses paid discussion (since I'm in the same camp as Bladestorm where they CAN be free but likely won't, and can't be expected to be). The sentence was intended to start setting the scene of the late 80's, early 90's era I would be referring to in the rest of the paragraph.
Phil, I didn't realize that you were part o f the initial audiogames movement. That is really cool! Is it cool looking at everything that was basically built upon the foundation you guys help lay?
