Hi Azinck You make your point very elequantly and I agree technically... there should be no difference in sound, a bit is a bit and if delivered properly 'should' sound the same regardless of the delivery method. But it doesn't sound the same. I have QED , Ixos and VDH digital ic's and they all sound different to each other. Even my wife can hear the differences. It flys in the face of logic and is as strange as Sunday turning into Monday or the efficacy of Homeopathy :)
