By what criteria?

They measure nothing. They swear by $2000 cables as being vastly better than $500 cables. They describe good sound as 'chocolate' or 'more yin than yang' They suggest that it really is a good idea to spend $80,000 on a turntable.

The goal of TAS, the sound of acoustic instruments in real spaces, is wonderful, simple and easy to understand.

At least Stereophile had the guts to write that a $350,000 amplifier was overpriced.
