My point was..........if a person has no Linux experience.......there is
a learning curve. Sometimes, Linux lovers underestimate the curve IMO. 

Now having said that, I have put Ubuntu on a separate partition and run
slimserver in the past. Works great. It was getting all the peripherals
to work...that finally ran me off. (not much different than the
problems with Vista right now) 

For me......I am computer tired. Been there, done that. Been doing
computers since DOS and a 286. and right now I just want to listen to
my music :)
