Very true, but the previous version never asked for, or required a user
password as far as I recall.  In that respect, it seemed very secure. 
I'm not sure why the new version requires one.  I suspect its for
connection to remotely mounted discs and or iTunes.  If thats the case,
than I would rather see the ability to not provide any user info, if I'm
not using iTunes or remote discs.  Even better than limiting privs, is
to give it none in the first place!
