Well, actually my experience is that it can be much cheaper AND faster to buy a new £1m server that is ten times quicker than it is to hire a bunch of highly expensive gurus to pour over already-optimised code to get maybe 50-100% performance increase after massive testing... and then 6 months later buy the hardware anyway... ymmv :-) -- Phil Leigh You want to see the signal path BEFORE it gets onto a CD/vinyl...it ain't what you'd call minimal...
