Blue Jeans cable - very well made and good prices. There is no need to
spend serious money on exotic materials.

As for which is preferable, the usual advice is to try both and see
which works best, soundwise - because it depends on the DAC...
specifically how the receiver circuts and grounding are implemented.

My rule of thumb is to use coax by default.
