I don't understand this explanation. What is the 'non-linear ethernet load', and what do you mean when you say that the ethernet buffer size doesn't affect the processing load? Why would you want to reduce the ethernet buffer size? If there's anything at all in this line of enquiry, wouldn't a smaller buffer just reduce the amount of time when no streaming is taking place? By the way, it's more like 30 seconds on my Touch connected to my Mac mini, even when streaming WAV. Are you seeing 15 seconds on your Windows setup?
