Yes of course it can't thats a given.

But that is not what a/b  abxor dbt is measuring at all, can we please
stop having the missunderstanding that we are trying to measure
subjektive sound quality.

It measures if you  -realy- can tell a from b or b from a no more no
less.
The question is simply is this a or b when presented with x ? reapeted
enough times so that you can do away with chance and other randomness.

If you can tell that a is different from b .

then you can asses it's improved soundquality if it is an improvement (
next problem )


lets not forget that human bias works both ways, abx can probably cure
a ingrained sceptic like me in cases where I imagine that there is no
difference but in reality it is a difference.
