Thanks for the interesting posts. I'm beginning to see why a/b tests are
so popular. If you take away a lot of the stimulus/preconceptions, you
whittle the enjoyment down to the audio which is something you can
measure.

somebody has stuck a Bose sticker on sounds better, then I'll take the
one with the sticker (depending upon cost...). No point in doing a test
blind to show me there isn't a difference - the sticker isn't audible,
but a lot of our enjoyment of music/wine/cigars/sunsets isn't down to a
measurable quantity. Our senses are a jumble of impulses all processed
in parallel in the brain.
