That's the beauty of this simple test - it combines all of these
supposed effects into one and allows us to test wether their cumulative
effect is audible.  There's no need to separate these issues and test
them separately.  If the poor overloaded server sends its data packets
in an uneven pattern and stresses the NIC, and if the router/switch/etc
add noise to the ethernet cables, then surely it should be easier to
hear the combined effect.

*IF* the test proves there's an effect, that's the time to start
looking for the culprits.

For this test NOT to work requires that the content of the buffer is
NOT a perfect representation of the logical bit values that were in the
original data file.  Are you still disputing that?
