According to that thread, the ECM8000 is NOT omniI mean, I don't want to be too disparaging given its cost, but: 1) not omni 2) not anything like flat 3) overloads easily 4) is noisy and thus unsuitable for anything other than being a doorstop... :-) -- Phil Leigh You want to see the signal path BEFORE it gets onto a CD/vinyl...it ain't what you'd call minimal...
