The MGB (pre- black bumpers!) was a great looking car. The engine was
somewhat lacking in power unless fettled. The MGC was of course a
death-trap because the 3 litre straight 6 engine was too heavy and
unbalanced the car. The variant with the aluminium Rover V-8 had plenty
of oomph, but if I remember correctly it didn't arrive until the
accursed black bumpers had been fitted...
