In the interests of free speech, I do not believe that this group should
have a moderator.

However, I think it would be appropriate for those with a vested
interest in a particular product to make that interest clear when
posting on this list (and when writing articles in Soaring Australia)
especially when they are praising or promoting the products they sell.

I have no objection to this list being used to advertise (that is free
speech, as well), but I would like to know that it IS an advertisement.
In the case of Soaring Australia, I also believe that blatantly
promotional articles should be paid for just like any other advertisement.

While many of us know who is who in the zoo, there will be those who
don't. Perhaps, if these people choose not to declare their interest,
another member of the list could "out" them :)

I don't think anyone doubts that the ASG29 is a "good thing". It was
only suggested that those same pilots would probably have done equally
well in other equipment.

Cheers
