I do have a home a desktop computer and I have there a dual boot
system: Linux and Windows XP. So I could try that other OS. :)

No, it's still Beta2. The new beta should be available soon (hopefully
some time this week), but as of today, there's no new package.

I think, I will file a bug report for LibO then. I'll test both
software packages and give you feedback as well.
