When I view that PDF, some pages are completely blank and others have
missing images. I didn't look at any of the x-refs.

BTW, I just opened the ODM in OOo3.3RC5 on Win7 and created a PDF.
AFAICT, the same images are missing from the PDF as occurred on Ubuntu
with RC4. Would you be willing to organise a bug report on the missing
images problem as well as the bad x-refs problem? Two separate bug
reports, though perhaps using the same files.
