the rule itself. (It's the same rule in makefile-temp and in the
"proper" Makefile generated by autoconf.)

Roland, thanks again for makefile-temp. The Makefiles in emacs/lisp/
and leim/ use the unmsys--file-name function to overcome the problem in
the MinGW environment. Could you make this change, please? It's a
no-op for any OS but Windows.
