Thanks for the tip, Bruce.  Nothing better than a tip with a heavy dose of
condescension.  I've been as clear as I know to be and if you believe that
BBEdit handles saving window size and position the way a majority of Mac (or
Windows) applications (text editing or otherwise), I respectfully disagree
with you.

I tried your idea of setting a menu command for "Save Default Window" and
then recording an Applescript of me calling that command, but nothing was
recorded.
