I've been a Eudora fan for years. For me, one of the biggest selling points is the ability to selectively turn off nearly all aspects of HTML formatting :) Another nice thing thing is the program's "reply quoting selection" feature. As the name suggests, Eudora creates a new reply, quoting only the portion of the original message that you selected. That's my GUI preference.
