Personally the main reason is that I never needed nothing else that a "public" repository, no BTS, no wiki and so on. I don't see any reason to use gitorious only as backup. it would be nice to have all the BE related sites under bugseverywhere.org, but It is not really important where we have the repo. In any case we can leave gitorious anytime we want. Let's go with gitorious and see what happen.
