I've eliminated my firewall, 3rd party plugins, Fishbone skin. I've turned on various debug switches that haven't given me any more clues. I'm trying another test with no crossfade (tried this on another player before and still had a problem), and no smart gain. After that, I'm stumped - I'll have to raise a bug report or contact support.
