Dear Mahek, I respect your view that you have mentioned in your mail saying "Creation of separate state in my view would improve infrastructure in telangana," but have you ever visited those states after division which you named below in your mail? I don't believe so... because if you would have ever visited than you would never had mentioned such type of statement. Which infrastructure are you talking about is goin to improve after division? Go to Jharkhand.. except Ranchi, Jamshedpur, Dhandbad and Bokaro which all cities have you found developed after division? Just for your kind information all the above mentioned cities are developed before the division of Bihar into Jharkhand. Now go to Bihar... Have you found any of the cities developed after division? All cities of the said state are still in the same condition as earlier it were. Just imagine if the capital of the state has not seen any infrastructure changes than forget about other cities. Same situation you will find in other mentioned states too. I can give you more details on these states also but later as currently I am running behind the time. Again one of your statement "I am as much an Indian and hyderabadi as you are." I just want to ask you one thing, why can't we say that we are only an Indian rather than tagging ourselves to any of the state? Have you visited any of the foreign country? If yes.. than can you recall any instances when people from that country would have asked you "Hey Mahek... you are from which state?" The answer you will find no..never. They would have rather asked you "Hey Mahek... you are from which country?" The problem is that we ourselves are too much interested and eager to divide ourselves than these bugger politicians. By enjoying saying that we are from this state, this cast, this religion and other rubbish and baseless statements why can't we straight away proudly say that hey boss I am Indian and please never try to divide us by your Bullshit queries? Whatever has happened or happening is nothing than the baseless political game. These shameless politicians irrespective of their parties, have only one funda "Divide and Rule", and the most shameful truth is that we are also accepting it by helping them in any way. I remember my dad going to his native here in nizamabad city and still finding the same mud lanes, same pot holes, same open drainage system even after 30 years. Just because hyderabad got good development doesn't necessary mean the whole region has done well. The main area which will improve is the basic facilities and effective execution of state and central government programs. The demand for separate state is not to divide people but to deliver to common man. Also, i don't subscribe to the violence used by TRS to show off its strength. Nor do i subscribe to congress party which agreed to partition overnight, with out any proper debate, demands, public opinion and credibility & intention of the guys who demanded separate state. i consider telangana as a state carved out just like chattisgarh, uttarakhand or jharkhand. Accepted that this may not have happend always, there may have been instances where some injustice has been meted out, but SEPERATION AS A SOLUTION IS NO SOLUTION.
