Victor, I think that most new external hard drives come already in NTFS format. I recently bought a Hitachi external hard drive and it was formatted that way.
One of my older external hard drive which I purchased a couple of years ago was FAT32 and had to be reformatted to NTFS. Just thought that you might want to know.
