Hey Tom,
I have several emails saved in Outlook 2000. Also, I have almost 500
addresses in my address book.
How can I back them up on a CD?
Please join us on Skype Monday thru Friday at 8:00 EST for our Morning

Subject: [Blind-Computing] RE backing up files
I assume you are interested in backing up files in My Documents.
If you ever need to start over with your computer you will install the
program files from the original disks anyway.
There may be some files besides my documents that you may wish to back
up, such as your address book.
Here are four ways you can back up your files:
1. Copy them to CD Rom Disks
2. Copy them to DVD
Copy them to a flash drive.
4. Buy an external U S B hard drive and back up files onto it.
The last option costs the most, but has the greatest capacity.
You should back up files regularly because there is always the
possibility that your hard drive will fail and you will likely not be
able to retrieve this information.
I back up the files in My Documents on my computer every week using the
DVD method.
Blessings,
Tom
