Yes; if you are going to backup to a CD you would need a program to burn the
CD. Usually, I back up files to a flash drive and then put those files into
another computer to back them up.

Okay, I'm a little confused .  After a file has been pasted to the D drive, 
how do you actually create the backup CD?  Do you need a separate CD burner 
program?  I've never seen any burner options in the menus for My Computer or

Windows Explorer.  Sorry if I sound like a real dope.
