Donnie, There may be better ways to do this, but here's one idea. For the address book, use Windows Explorer to go to Documents and Settings on your hard drive. There are folders for default user and all users, but the one you are looking for may be in a file with your name. This may take a little looking. In this folder open Application Data, and then open the Microsoft folder In there you can find a folder for the address book and copy it to a CD for safe keeping.
On my computer with Vista I can find the personal folders and copy and save them, but in XP I can't. maybe someone else knows how to do this. I simply highlight, copy and paste the contents of emails I want to save into Word documents and keep them as files in My Documents, which gets backed up every week.
